The City of Snohomish held its first community resource fair and vaccine clinic on Saturday, Feb. 24th at the Carnegie Building, in partnership with the WA DOH Care-A-Van, who were onsite providing vaccination services, including blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, available to all event attendees at no cost. Several local community based organizations were in attendance including LETI Latino Educational Training Institute, Snohomish Community Foodbank, along with Providence Swedish Cancer Education Center , Providence Intervention Center for Assault and Abuse, Providence Institute for a Healthier Community, Providence Regional Medical Center Everett’s Trauma Services, and PMG Community Health Navigator. Resources and health education information were shared including Stop the Bleed, a free class open to community members held at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett and LiveWellLocal.org a local crowd sourced resource hub with over 2,000 resources based here in Snohomish County.
