Barry Stueve

Barry Stueve currently serves as Chief Mission Integration Officer for the Providence Swedish North Puget Sound Service area working to support a culture of compassion and human thriving through the services of Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, Swedish Edmonds and Mill Creek, and Providence Medical Group in Snohomish County.  Barry has served in the mission leader role since 2018 and previously served as the Spiritual Care Manager at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett after holding that role at PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview, WA.  Prior to his work in chaplaincy, spiritual care leadership, and mission leadership, Barry served as a Lutheran parish ministry in Minnesota, Missouri, Wyoming, California and Washington State.  This parish work also engaged service to those communities in the areas of support of public school programs, prison ministry, service to immigrant communities and others under socio-economic pressures, and commissions advocating for housing, mental health support, and substance use prevention and treatment.
