What an incredible honor to be a part of the first Everett Pride! While the weather may not have been the warmest, it certainly did not shadow anyone’s experience as smiles were had all around! This event had everything from music to dancing, live entertainment, informational tables and vendors, along with local organizations providing access to resources and support. Several food trucks were on hand providing nourishment to those in attendance.
Providence Institute for a Healthier Community joined in on the fun and offered up pronoun pins, pride flags, and provided access to resources through the www.livewelllocal.org resource hub. Several local Community-Based organizations were on site including Everett Public Library, PFLAG, and Dawson Place. The theme for the day was all about love and safe spaces; creating connections and building relationships in our community where folks feel celebrated and fulfilled.
