Interested in having your organization and programs listed on our resource hub LiveWellLocal.org?  

Any individuals and organizations in the community that care about well-being are invited to become PIHC Partners. Partners receive access to The Partner Portal, an online hub designed to make it easier to connect with PIHC and the well-being community in Snohomish County. Both individuals and organizations are invited to join.

Cold Weather Shelters

Cold Weather Shelters are operated by community-based organizations, volunteer groups, and communities of faith across Snohomish County. Hours of operation, criteria for opening, and length of season vary by location. However, Cold Weather Shelters typically open when overnight temperatures are expected to be below 34 degrees F. The cold weather season typically begins in November and can last through March of the following year. 

Veteran’s Day

Veterans Day is a national holiday in the United States celebrated on November 11th, dedicated to honoring veterans and active military members.  It has become a day of recognition, respect, and gratitude for those who have and continue to risk their lives in pursuit of the protection and safety of others.

Diabetes Awareness

World Diabetes Day (WDD) is the largest diabetes awareness campaign in the world. It is marked every year on November 14. This year the theme is Access to Care. 1 in 10 adults worldwide have diabetes and over 90% have type 2 diabetes. Many people don’t realize that food safety is the most important ingredient in preparing food for the holidays.
